"When in fabulous New Delhi, after spending three or four days in Chanakyapuri chilling out at the luxury hotels like Taj Palace, ITC Maurya, Leela Palace, Shangri-La Eros; the inner Desi in me gets bored and then I tend to go towards Connaught Place and Hauz Khas and I inevitably stop at Bikanervala in CP. Having tasted the Dilli Chole Bhature in Fremont Bikanervala - Oh My Gosh , itβs absolutely authentic in taste, texture and presentation - down to the same Aachar and Green Mirchi. She loved the Onion Kachori too. With friendly smiles by the hostess and the staff serving extra chutneys with the hum of a Chill Sunday Desi Crowd, it felt like the real deal and it was super clean too. Maaza Aa Gaya ."
"Amazing food and service. Really loved the food especially Chole Bhature, bhalla chaat, Gur Rasmalai, gulab jamun, gajar halwa. Loved the service too.. did not face any issues. Highly recommend this place if you miss the Bikanervala from Delhi. They have retained the taste."
"Bikanervala Fremont This is one of the better Indian spots in the area, especially if you are craving North Indian classics and proper street food. The biggest win here is the pricing. It is reasonable enough that you can order a bunch of dishes and actually explore the menu instead of committing to just one main. We tried raj kachori, dahi bhalla, chhole bhatura, stuffed kulcha, dhokla, and pani puri. Most of the items were genuinely tasty and satisfying. The raj kachori was a standout and easily the highlight of the meal. Great balance of textures and flavors. The only miss for us was the pani puri. The crispy hollow puris were soggy, which kind of ruins the whole experience since that crunch is everything. It did not feel as fresh as it should have. That said, the menu is extensive and there is still so much left to try. I would definitely come back and explore more dishes next time."
"I have come by this place multiple times for their sweets. My favorite has been the milk cake and each time it has been soft and very fresh tasting, except this time. I can taste that their quality has dropped drastically. The milk cake was frozen cold and dry, which i havenβt experienced at any of the sweets stores before. Their milk cake also had kesar color added on top this time, which wasnβt the case before. Overall, very disappointed and this is coming from someone that really raved about the sweets from this place."
"Bikanervala Fremont is a great hangout place for North Indian popular street food. Same consistent taste as in India. Itβs a self service restaurant but the prices felt on a higher side. 1 star less because of the way they are managing the food ordering process which seemed to be a bit of chaos given the line starts right in front of the entrance gate and the seating is on both sides of that line. One needs to cross the line to get to the pickup counter or to get the packing boxes. They should probably consider ordering process using QRs and assigning order numbers. Parking space was ample. Their raj kachoudi, matar kulcha, chole bhature are all nice. We will go again for that same taste we are used to. Perhaps a weekday would be better to visit."
