"We recently visited A2B after its temporary closure. It was good to be there for dinner. We liked the atmosphere and the background music. Seating was very comfortable and clean spacious tables. Their kurma that comes with parotta was A+. Dosa/sambar was also good, but the chutney portions are less. You can ask for more and they give it to you. Coconut chutney the best I have tasted so far in Bay Area. Very fresh and authentic. Lassi was also good. Will visit again."
"Food was overall very good at A2B San Jose. The Jain thatte idli was absolutely fantastic, the paneer dosa was flavorful, and the filter coffee is a mustβtry β rich, aromatic, and perfectly brewed. However, the experience was held back by the service. Our starters, including idli, were brought out after the main dishes, which didnβt make much sense and disrupted the flow of the meal. Service was also quite slow, and we had to ask multiple staff members just to get our order moving.Great food, but the service needs improvement for the experience to match the quality of the dishes."
"We ordered gobi 65 , go I fried rice , Kothu parotta pan et,sambar idli, idli kebab, mini meals chole poori and tiffin combo . All items are excellent except idli kebab , that one is just ok ."
"I ordered the exec thaali and tried to simulate my experience of A2B while in Madurai - Rameswaram. The food was satisfying and Mr LovePreet the server was very attentive to make sure service was also 5 star. I go on weekdays after 12:30 and it is quite peaceful and not a jungle like on the weekends. Ordered madras coffee too. Next time it will be a ghee rava dosa!"
"I usually visit A2B San Jose for breakfast or evening snacks, and it has consistently been a pleasant experience. The place is clean with ample seating, making it comfortable to sit and enjoy a meal. I often order the Mysore masala dosa, combo breakfast plate, or uttapam, and I always end my meal with their chai or filter coffeeβa perfect finish. The food is tasty and among the better South Indian options in the Bay Area. The staff here are courteous and polite, especially Nikita, who always greets with a smile and makes the experience warmer. Service can be on the slower side, and some seating areas feel a bit tight, but the overall environment is clean and well-maintained, including the restrooms. Prices are slightly higher compared to other Indian restaurants, but the quality and consistency make it worth it. Overall, a good spot in the Bay Area for authentic South Indian food."
