Vasundhara School of Music

At Vasundhara School of Music, we bring the majestic tradition of the Senia Maihar Gharana of Hindustani classical vocal music to Bay Area students. Founded and directed by renowned vocalist Pandit Rita Sahai, a senior disciple of the legendary Ustad Ali Akbar Khan, our school provides deeply personalized vocal and harmonium training. We guide our students through the nuances of swara sadhana, meditative alap, intricate taans, and traditional bandishes across varied ragas. Through regular baithaks, workshops, and student recitals, we foster an inspiring environment where music becomes an uplifting spiritual practice. Discover the serenity and expressive power of North Indian classical music with Vasundhara School of Music.
