"First time yesterday for my Bday and made me feel like an EMPOEROR of San Jose LOL! The food was delish. They had the buffet going on during lunch and gave me a lot of different foods to try out. The service was 5 star professional, courteous and kind to my family. I am very impressed to the style and sweet compassionate people working at this place. It gave me a definite reason to return for more visits. The Hot tea was also splendid. The place was a good size and plenty of parking outside. Easy double door access for all people with wheelchairs or physically challenged."

"This review has been sitting on my to‑do list forever, but this visit finally pushed me to write it. We took our son — fresh off studying abroad and craving something familiar — to Emperor of India. He was ready to order his usual Tandoori chicken like muscle memory, but the staff stepped in with a gentle plot twist: “Try the Mali Chicken.” Good thing he listened. That dish was a hit at the table — creamy, tender, and one of those “wait, why haven’t we ordered this before” moments. We also shared the Shrimp Biryani, Butter Chicken, and Garlic Naan. The biryani was aromatic and satisfying, the butter chicken was rich and comforting, and the naan was warm, soft, and perfect for scooping everything up. Great food, friendly staff, and a perfect way to welcome our son home. Emperor of India reminded us why we’ve missed it."

"Their Chicken 65 is perfectly crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor, while the naan platter offers a delicious, fresh variety that melts in your mouth. Excellent service and authentic Northern Indian cuisine. Highly recommend!"

"After reading reviews. I decided to give this place a try after the high ratings. It’s good but not great. Was hoping they had goat curry like most Indian buffets. I also ask for samosa but they didn’t bring out any and the fried veggies were burnt. Other dishes was ok. Wish the spice level was more spicier."

"Super lunch buffet. Great quality delicious food with hot naan at the ready! 2024-01-14 2nd time back and the food is great! However, after seeing the bathroom, I am VERY concerned about how the kitchen might look. Cleanliness should be the same throughout the restaurant. Toilet seat hanging off, floors dirty, and the corners atrocious, smears on the wall. How can employees be clean in this mess and then go back to the kitchen? Unacceptable."
